Biography:

McKenzie returns to the RailCats in 2018. He went 4-4 over 14 games (11 starts) with a 3.72 ERA. Desite missing seven weeks with a broken left fibula, McKenzie also set career highs with 77.1 innings pitched and 42 strikeouts.

In 2016, he southpaw went 5-4 with a 4.32 ERA in 30 games (seven starts) for the Lincoln Saltdogs. McKenzie was drafted out of CSU-Bakersfield in 2013 by the Chicago White Sox in the 28th round of the MLB Draft. McKenzie began his professional career with Great Falls in 2013, going 4-0 with six saves and a 1.44 ERA in 16 relief outings. McKenzie began the 2014 season with Great Falls before being promoted to Kannapolis (Lo-A) in the middle of the season. McKenzie went 3-5 with a 5.60 ERA and one complete game in 13 games (10 starts) for the Intimidators.
