Biography:

Minor was acquired by the RailCats from the Winnipeg Goldeyes on Aug. 10, 2017. Minor finished without a record and a 5.23 ERA in 21 relief appearances for the Goldeyes, but posted a 3-1 record with a 1.47 ERA over 7 games (6 starts) while fanning 41 batters over 36.2 innings after joining the RailCats. Minor began his professional baseball career in 2012 after getting drafted by the Houston Astros in the ninth round of the 2012 MLB Draft out of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Minor spent parts of four seasons in the Astros minor league system, reaching as high as Double-A.
