Biography:

Christoph Bono comes to the RailCats after two seasons of affiliated baseball experience. Bono split the 2017 season between four different teams at four levels in two different organizations. He played at the Rookie, Low-A, Single-A, and High-A levels, split between the San Francisco Giants and the San Diego Padres organizations. Combined, Bono hit .159 over 40 games with seven RBIs and five stolen bases. Bono spent the 2016 season with the Giants' Arizona League rookie affiliate, batting .194 over 25 games, driving in three runs and stealing four bases. 

Bono was drafted by San Francisco in the 37th Round of the 2016 MLB Draft out of UCLA. In his four seasons with the Bruins, Bono batted .219 with six home runs and 81 RBIs, spanning 228 games. Christoph Bono is a native of Palo Alto, California.
