Andrews will be getting his first taste of professional baseball by signing on with the Gary SouthShore RailCats for the 2021 season.
In Andrews' senior season at Linfield, he continued to be an impact player. He started all 45 games for the Wildcats, slashing .359/.483/.575 in 167 at-bats. He also tallied 60 hits, 19 doubles, five home runs and 39 RBI.
As a junior, Andrews had an outstanding season. He earned numerous accolades, including Second Team All-West Region honors and First Team All-NWC. He hit a team best .386 and drove in a team high 39 RBI’s as the team’s cleanup hitter for the second consecutive season. He compiled a team high 19 multi-hit games and held the longest hit streak of the season at 16 games and started all 40 games at first base.
As a sophomore, Andrews made the jump to the starting lineup as the team’s primary cleanup hitter. He hit .303 and drove in 42 runs while registering 10 multiple-RBI outings. He also strung together a nine-game hitting streak and registered a .993 fielding percentage at first base.
As a freshman, Andrew saw action in 16 games, This includes five of six starts as the team’s designated hitter. In those games, he slashed .346/.400/.423 with nine hits, two doubles, and two RBI.
Andrews attended Shorewood High School in Shorewood, Wisconsin. There, he racked up numerous accolades and accomplishments, earning eight varsity letters playing baseball and basketball.
