GARY, IND. — An eight-run second inning from Chicago on a humid Tuesday night at U.S. Steel Yard was too much for Gary to overcome as the ‘Cats fell to the Dogs, 12-3, for the second straight night. The RailCats added their final run in the bottom of the eighth. With recently signed Rolando Gomez on third, Walraven extended his season-high hitting streak to 10 games with a two-out RBI infield single.

Sinibaldi allowed four runs on three hits and a walk while striking out a pair over two innings in his second home appearance.

Robbie Coursel (2-1) was charged with his first loss in his first professional start at U.S. Steel Yard after allowing eight runs over two innings. The Michigan City, Ind., native allowed all eight of his runs in the second inning on seven hits (two home runs) and an American Association single-inning record three hit batsman.
