Ryan Leitch is a 24-year-old catcher from Whitby, Ontario, Canada that was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds but did not sign. Leitch played college baseball at Marshall University with Elvis Peralta’s brother.

He would sign as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Phillies where he reached High-A Jersey Shore.

Leitch signed with the Kansas City Monarchs in 2025 and he played in 60 games hitting six home runs, had a .341 OBP and a .732 OPS. One of those home runs was a walk-off bomb against the RailCats.

This season the Canadian had 22 games with the Monarchs he had a .227 average but a .386 OBP with four home runs and an .840 OPS. His OPS was sixth-best by catchers in the league.

Leitch had a big game in Game One of a doubleheader against the DockHounds hitting a two-run double and an RBI single for a three RBI game.
