RailCats announce newest 2021 player signings 

 

The RailCats announced four player signings for the 2021 season today.  

Hunter CullenCal State-Fullerton grad joins the RailCats from Evansville to complete an earlier trade. Cullen, former outfielder for the Otters, slashed .251/.320/.377 in the 2019 season appearing in 78 games with 56 hits, 23 RBI’s, 3 home runs and 12 stolen bases. 

 

Outfielder Javion Randle joins the RailCats from Humble, Texas. Randle spent the 2019 season with the Texas AirHogs, formerly of the American Association. In 2019 he slashed .280/.358/.365 in 84 games with 293 plate appearances. During that time Randle secured 82 hits, 33 RBI’s and 16 stolen bases. 

 

Nolan Clenney, right-handed pitcher joins the RailCats after spending the 2019 and 2020 seasons with the Utica Unicorns. The Northville, Michigan native graduated from North Carolina State University. With the Unicorns, Clenney appeared in 45 games with a .600 win-loss percentage. In two seasons he pitched in 68.2 innings with a 3.01 ERA, 76 strike outs, 21 walks and 1 save.
