Nolan Clenney Acquired by Milwaukee Brewers
Gary, Ind. – Pitcher Nolan Clenney’s contract has been purchased by the Milwaukee Brewers, the club has announced.
In both 2019 and 2020, Clenney played with the Utica Unicorns of the United Shore Baseball League where the Novi, Michigan native delivered a 1.48 ERA through 30.1 innings of work, striking out 44 during his final season with the club.
Clenney was a two-year letter winner at North Carolina State University where he delivered a 4-0 record in 47 relief appearances, tallying a 3.18 ERA over 56.2 innings on the rubber.
A six-foot-two right-handed pitcher with a smile as dynamic as his four-seam, Clenney signs with the Brewers, marking his first contract with an MLB-affiliated organization.
The RailCats still have 13 pitchers on the 2021 Spring Training roster.
