Max Kelton

Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations

Max Kelton joins the RailCats for the 2021 season as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations. Kelton, a California native, formerly served as the Director of Broadcasting for the Santa Barbara Foresters, a collegiate summer ball team located in Southern California during the 2020 season following his graduation from the University of California, Santa Barbara in June of 2020.
While at UCSB, Kelton served as the Sports Director of KCSB FM Radio 91.9 in Santa Barbara while also functioning as an Assistant Sports Information Director with UC Santa Barbara's Intercollegiate Athletics department. Included in his work with UCSB Athletics, Kelton is credited as the Founder and Host of the Up, Up, and Ole podcast, where players, coaches and alumni are highlighted on every episode. His favorite sports memory is calling a buzzer beater in a sold-out rivalry game, his final broadcast before Covid hit. 
Kelton self-identifies as a hot sauce aficionado, Boston sports fanatic, 70's rock and roll lover, and a stand up comedy connoisseur.
