Back for his fifth season at The Steel Yard, Chuck Schultz is the Clubhouse Manager for the Gary SouthShore RailCats.

After spending 23 years as both a firefighter and paramedic, Schultz began his career in professional baseball as the Head Groundskeeper and Clubhouse Manager for the Joliet Slammers of the Frontier League in 2017. He joined the RailCats the very next season, and he has been with the team ever since. Additionally, he worked two offseasons in the California Winter League and one Spring Training in Florida. In 2020, when the RailCats did not participate in the American Association season due to COVID-19, Schultz served as the Clubhouse Manager for the Chicago Dogs.

Outside of work, Schultz is an avid golfer and fisherman, and he enjoys going to any baseball game he can find.
